Weekly Reflect // #53
Hello everyone!
It's a glorious Sunday and that means it's time to reflect on the week gone by!
This week . . .
. . . began with a visit to the doctors to get the meningitis vaccine. It's been recommended that young people (especially students heading off to uni for the first time) get it to prevent contracting the disease. I'm pretty used to injections by now and this one wasn't bad at all. If you're in the age group and haven't got it yet, it's really worthwhile phoning your GP to make an appointment!

With regards to school & my illness, it wasn't a great week for me. I didn't manage the full week in school but on the positive side, I am getting work sent home so I can keep up with my courses! I'm hoping that I'll be able to make some progress and go in a few more days next week!
I wasn't housebound all week though - I went out for lunch with my dad one day which was honestly one of the highlights of the week. It's such a simple thing to do but we had the best time. We both had the most incredible chicken & broccoli bake which left us pretty full afterwards!
And lastly, another small but lovely highlight of my week was that a beautiful wee Border Collie dog came round to our house out of the blue one night in the week! She didn't have a collar so we couldn't find out who her owners were. It was clear she had some though, by how friendly and well groomed she was. Later on we found out she belongs to someone just up the road from us which was a relief. It was a shame we couldn't cuddle and play with her for longer though as she was adorable & full of smiles!
