I ♡ Makeup // All Day & Night Eyeliner review
Hello everyone!
Looking for a black pencil liner that lasts? The I ♡ Makeup All Day & Night eyeliner in 'One Sin Too Many?' may just be the one for you!
It's a matte black pencil eyeliner from I ♡ Makeup, Makeup Revolution's sister brand.
The pencil also comes in plenty of other shades.
It costs £1.99!
My THOUGHTS
I didn't need another black pencil eyeliner but when I hauled a few things from Makeup Revolution recently, curiosity got the better of me and this ended up in my basket! I'd read a few reviews which compared it to the Urban Decay liners and what with this being a lot cheaper, I was sold.
The consistency is very creamy and it really does glide on the lid. It's also packed with pigment and so is a true black rather than a wishy washy grey as some 'black' liners tend to be! I think it really comes into it's own when you smudge it slightly as you can see I've done below. You get a wee bit of time to play around with it, then it sets and really does stays put! I did notice that if you look up before it's fully set it does have a tendency to transfer onto the lids but you soon learn when you've done that once!
It cannot be argued that this is a brilliant quality eyeliner but it does have a downside. I didn't realise this when I bought it but you can't sharpen or twist it up so all you're really getting is a tiny amount of product! It's such a shame as I do love this eyeliner a lot but in all honesty it's put me off buying another.
EDIT // Silly me. You can sharpen it! Looks can be deceiving - I thought it was made of plastic and so couldn't be sharpened. It can!
The SWATCHES
Overall, I do think this is a great eyeliner and I would recommend it!
