April Favourites!

BEAUTY

Makeup

On the very first day of April I went to see Nicki Minaj is concert and of course I had to wear the MAC Viva Glam lipstick she put her name to! It's definitely one of my favourite lipsticks (if not my all time favourite) but I fell in love with it all over again and it's what I've been reaching for most of this month. If you saw my Makeup Revolution haul then you'll know I ordered a bunch of new makeup and I have to say, I'm blown away by pretty much everything! The Protection palette & What You Waiting For? palette have been become a part of my everyday makeup routine since I set my eyes on them. They really are amazing quality - look out for full reviews coming soon!



Hair

I didn't bring in anything new to my haircare routine this month but I did change up my hairstyle quite drastically - I went for a chin length bob! I'm still getting used to it but I'm loving it so far.



Bath & Body

I have two new bathtime favourites to share! The first is the Possibility Raspberry Pavlova which smells devine. I find the scent is much more like rhubarb crumble than it's namesake but either way, if you want to smell like dessert it's a winner! Another new addition is the Original Source Mango shower gel which is incredibly delicious smelling!

FASHION

Seeing as we're well and truly into Spring now and it's finally starting to show in the weather, my wardrobe has had a complete shake up! I've been experimenting with pastels upon pastels & brights upon brights. Basically anything colourful as I tend to find it makes me feel so much happier!

I did manage to pop out to a charity shop this month and pick up a few times, one of them being a super cute blue & white patterned rain coat! It's come in so handy for those April shower days and I'm sure I'll be featuring it in an outfit post soon. My green skinny jeans have come back into my wardrobe too!



LIFESTYLE

Food & Drink

I made Essie Button's banana bread and hot diggity damn it was delicious. What with April being the month of Easter, I indulged in quite a few Cadbury's Egg 'n' Spoons and all I can say is ultimate treat! I also had to pleasure of trying the new raspberry flavoured Magnum and yep, also very tasty. Here's to hoping next months food favourites are a little healthier!

TV & Film

To know me is to know one of my favourite films (and books) is The Time Traveler's Wife and I can now say I'm the proud owner of the DVD! I've watched it more than a few times already as I just can't get enough of it. I thoroughly recommend it if you like romantic films with a sci fi twist!

Clare's hilariously relatable "You Know You Were a 90s Kid When . . ." post // Charlotte's "5 reasons to love tea" post - because tea is a way of life! // Amber's extra lovely "Happiness this week is . . ." post - it may or may not have mentioned little old me in it!
