'Why Do You Wear Makeup' Tag!

Hey girlies!

I've got plenty of blog posts ready to be written but I just haven't got the time to take pictures, what with school work at the minute. Also it was my parent teachers meeting tonight so my parents want me to really concentrate on my school work - eek! I promise I'll get round to the photo taking at the weekend, but for now, here's a quick tag I've seen on a couple of blogs recently.

And I tag all of you for this tag!
I want to thank you all - I've reached 40 followers!

-----------

1. When did you begin loving make-up?

I began experimenting with makeup when I was about 10. I began wearing makeup around the age of 12. (only a silly foundation probably a slight shade of tangerine) But I really only began loving makeup when I was 14. I'm 15 now, very almost 16 so it hasn't been that long - but I think since starting this blog I've begun to properly love makeup!

2. How do you feel without makeup?

I wear makeup every school day. And Saturdays, but rarely on Sunday because skin needs a break! There was a time when I would worry far too much if I'd been in a rush in the morning and not had enough time to put my makeup on so I'd come to school bare faced. Nowadays, I still feel like I need the comfort blanket but I don't worry just as much.

3. What do you like about makeup?

I feel like I can express myself with makeup. For instance, cat eye flicks are for when I'm feeling cute and flirty and bright coloured lipsticks are for when I'm feeling bold etc. I think it lets other people know a little more about me. Lots of girls like makeup because it hides imperfections, but I like makeup to accentuate what's already there. I'm naturally very pale and I've learned to embrace my paleness - I love it! I always love experimenting with new tricks and products.

4. Three 'holy grail' items?

Firstly I'd have to say Benefit They're Real! Mascara, then Rimmel London Clear Complexion Clarifying Face Powder. I'm yet to find a third to be honest with you!

And to avoid this being a pictureless post, I just wanted to add a photo of this Marilyn Monroe quote.

-"You're the beautiful one, it's society that's ugly."
