MUA Undressed Palette Review!
Hello lovelies!
Today I'll be reviewing the fantastic MUA Undressed Palette.
If you didn't already know, it's a certain dupe for Urban Decay's Naked Palette.
Naked, Undressed, get it?
It costs £4 and can be bought from any Superdrug where MUA is sold, and the MUA website here. It's actually on offer on their website £1 off, so snap it up if you're interested!
On with the review . . .
The packaging is plain, but it's actually really sleek and sturdy, not flimsy at all.
Open it up and it looks like this . . .
I took this picture when I first bought it. After having it for almost a month, it's gotten a lot more messy and smudged! This doesn't bother me too much, I'll just have to give it a wipe clean.
And you also get a wonderful double-ended brush with it, which really isn't a cheapy-cheap flimsy, spongey brush, it's soft and is holding up really well. These pictures were also taken when I first got the palette, so it's gotten a little less clean too.
Here are the shades you get.
The one furthest left on the top row (called Virgin on the UD palette) is a lovely shimmery white/pink which I like to use for the inner corner of my eye and brow bone as a highlighter. The rest are all shimmers, except for two mattes. The third (Naked) and fifth (Buck) on the top row are both matte browns, one lighter than the other and are great for bases or just a subtle contouring of the eye. The top right shade (Half Baked) is the most gorgeously pigmented gold shimmer. Most of the colours are browns and pinks, except for the two bottom right shades. (Creep) is a very dark blue-black with flecks of tiny glitter in it. (Gunmetal) is a blue colour which again has some miniscule glitter added.
The Urban Decay Naked Palette
As you can see, the shades are extremely similar. I can't comment on similarities in pigmentation etc. because I have never actually got my hands on the UD palette, but I can say that I find no faults in MUA's version so why spend £36 when you could get it for 9 times cheaper!
Here are the swatches of all the shades in the MUA Undressed Palette.
From the left to right, the first 6 are the top row, and the other 6 are the bottom row. As you can see, they are all amazingly pigmented and you get a range of gorgeous colours.
What more could you ask for?
..............................................................
As you may know MUA have other palettes available in their range, but the question is, would I purchase any of those?
The answer is yes!
When I went in to buy this palette, I very almost chose the Dusk Til Dawn palette instead. I might end up getting this next, and also Poptastic to extend my range of brights. The Artiste Collection palette also looks like a winner, just haven't got round to picking one up yet.

Have you got the MUA Undressed palette?
