7 Things To Do Before Summer's Over

Hey there everyone!

I hope you're having a lovely day wherever you are - where I am, there's been thunder and lightning and freak showers of rain! So it's been another day where the weather's meant I've had to stay indoors. Meanwhile, I thought of this list of 7 things to do in the days before summer's over to cheer you up/get you ready for the next year ahead.

....................................................................................................

1. Paint your nails the brightest, summeriest colour you can find. Go all out on neons, patterns and try your hand at nail art! If you want something to make you smile, check out my easy nail tutorial here

2. Listen to the song that reminds you most of the summer. Maybe it's an old classic, the latest number one or the newest song from your favourite artist? Have that song and dance with a hairbrush in your bedroom!

3. Have a day of pampering. Start off with a shower or bath using your favourite exfoliator and moisturiser. Cocoa butter is fantastic! Then apply a face mask and/or hair mask and just relax. Do whatever makes you feel pampered!

4. Wear sunglasses. Even if it isn't sunny. Simple as.

5. Get your five a day with a big, juicy fruit salad. Bananas, strawberries, kiwi, grapes, raspberries, apples, oranges - what are your favourites? I looove a bowl of fruit served with blueberry yoghurt, trust me, it makes you feel like the healthiest person ever.

Here's a picture of a little 'strawberry creation' I made a few weeks ago!
Very simple and nothing fancy, just a couple of strawberries lined up in a circle with some strawberry yoghurt in the middle.
Perhaps you could add some blueberries or sprinkle some granola on top?

6. Donate to your local charity shop/thrift store! They get more items to sell, you get rid of things that are cluttering your home...they win, you win, it's a win-win situation!

7. Make one promise to yourself, something that you hope to have achieved by this time next year. It could be the smallest thing, but everyone loves that sense of achievement.

Are you going to carry out any of these little goals?
Got any you'd like to share?

I'd be delighted to hear any goals of your own in the comments!
