Weekly Reflect // #59
Hello everyone!
This week was a pretty good one for me! Let's take a minute to reflect . . .
This week . . .
. . . I decided I was going to to be super organised and I ended up getting lots of school work done! The weekly organiser I included in my recent stationery haul is proving to be invaluable. I set myself realistic goals for each day and ticked them off as I went. I also put a timer on each task. For example if I found myself losing concentration with a piece of work, I'd set an alarm for twenty minutes ahead and aimed to finish before it went off, or at least get as much work done in that time as possible. It's a real motivator and if you're a student like me I thoroughly recommend both timers & realistic to do lists!
Then on Wednesday night I went to my first yoga class! I couldn't wait and it actually ended up being even more enjoyable than I expected. It also wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be - I mean, some parts were challenging but you could feel they were beneficial and they were fun challenges, y'know? I came out of the session feeling stronger, positive and excited for the next time!
Also during the week I received a pretty fabulous package from Boohoo! I'm going to be collaborating with them by styling a 90s inspired outfit to celebrate Charli XCX's collection with them and I couldn't be more excited about it because 1) Charli is amazing and 2) Boohoo is one of my favourite online shops! I got to pick out a few pieces and they included some slightly retro sweets in the parcel too. Who remembers rainbow drops?! Still love them. Keep your eyes peeled for the outfit post in the not too distant future!
Another first happened this week - I got drawn! Aloha Lola Cards were offering to draw caricatures and I have to say, I absolutely love how they did mine. Their style of illustration is so cute and if you want one, all you have to do is ask them on Twitter!
So that was my week! Get involved in the comments below and let me know what you got up to!
How was your week?
Thanks for reading,
Maeve
