Weekly Reflect // #55

Hello everyone!

It's Sunday and you know what that means, it's time to reflect on another week gone by!

Weekly Reflect #55 // A trip to M&S, filmed a Youtube video, strange dream, last ever orthodontist appointment & the cosiest camel coat!

This week . . .

. . . absolutely flew by! It was definitely one of those 'blink and you miss it' weeks for me. I got so much organisation done, both blog-wise and school-wise so even though I didn't get to get out & do a lot, it was still a productive one!

On Sunday afternoon my parents and I headed over to Marks and Spencer for a quick look around and a bite to eat. They have some absolutely gorgeous Autumn/Winter fashion in at the minute - if only my bank balance stretched to it! I can't lie, I chose the rhubarb & ginger presse in their cafe solely because it was pink but I can confirm it was in fact delicious. Oh, and you can never go wrong with a wee pecan plait!

I finally filmed another Youtube video! My channel has kinda been put on the back burner what with my illness but this week I noticed that I now have 75+ subscribers which amazes me.You can expect my September Favourites to pop up on my Youtube channel next week so keep an eye out!

Also this week, I had a really strange dream that there was a man walking up and down my road. He was wearing all black so I have no idea why I had it in my mind that he was pretending to be the Easter bunny trying to lure children in - much like the Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and just as creepy. I tried and tried to ring the police at least 50 times but it never worked! It either wouldn't connect or the person on the other end couldn't hear me which was a horrible situation. Thank goodness it was just a dream!

On Friday I had my last ever orthodontist appointment! It's just under 2 years since my first visit and roughly 6 months since I got my braces off. It's hard to believe how quickly the time flies! Although the braces were a pain & an annoyance at times they were most definitely worth it. I didn't have anything major wrong with my teeth beforehand but the fact I no longer hesitate to smile with my teeth on show makes me so happy!

To celebrate, after my appointment my dad and I had lunch then quickly nipped into a charity shop for a wee look. I tried on a deliciously cosy camel coloured coat and couldn't leave without it! £5.99 very well spent. I can't wait to style it up and show it to you in an outfit post soon!

And lastly, I got my hair cut! Nothing drastically different, just a trim with a few very slight layers put in which I'm loving. It's crazy how quickly my hair grows since I got a bob!

So that was my week! Get involved in the comments below and let me know what you go up to, I'd love to know!

How was your week?

Thanks for reading,
Maeve
