Australian Bodycare Cleansing Face Mask review
Hello everyone!
I'm pretty passionate about skincare and although I have a routine I'm happy with, I always love trying new things! Australian Bodycare is a brand that's new to me and I was recently sent their Cleansing Face Mask to try. Here's my review!
It's a clay mask that contains tea tree oil as well as macadamia oil & papaya extract.
Australian Bodycare say it "helps soothe and condition the skin hygienically whilst restoring natural pH balance".
They also say it's suitable for everyday use on all skin types.
It costs £16.50 but it does vary in price if you search online!
This little gem has made it's way into my skincare routine as the very first product I use on my face in the morning. As it's a cleansing mask, I like to apply it before anything else - that way it gets rid of any impurities that have built up overnight (what a lovely thought!) and means my skin is prepped so I don't have to use as much of the other products in my routine.
The instructions say to cleanse first then use the mask but I've found it much more effective the other way around. I just apply a layer all over my face then leave it on for 10 minutes (or somewhere around that time, I usually let it sit for longer as I get busy doing other things and forget!). When I'm ready to take it off, I just use a face cloth soaked in warm water and that's it done!
My face feels incredibly smooth afterwards. You can really tell it's worked it's magic and cleansed the skin - without drying it out too, which for someone with combination/mostly dry skin is a priority! I can see this working for all skin types as they claim as it contains tea tree oil which cleanses, macadamia oil which nourishes & papaya extract which enzymatically exfoliates.
It has scent that can't quite put my finger on. It's kind of zesty and fresh which makes it lovely for waking yourself up in the morning! It also has a cooling effect on the skin and doesn't feel uncomfortable at all like some masks can.
What I love about this is that there are no gimmicks - it's just a good product that does what it's supposed to do. The squeezy tube makes it so easy to apply and I definitely prefer this way to those individual sachets. Not only is it less messy but you get to apply as much or as little as you want! Considering it's around the £15 mark, it's actually quite good value for money as there's enough in it for loads of uses!
You can find the Australian Bodycare Cleansing Face Mask on various websites such as KLM Beauty, Amazon & Feel Unique.
