I went to Superdrug: Impulse and MUA!

Hello everyone!

It feels like I apologize every post for not posting in a while! The school work is really piling up, I suppose that's what happens when you have GCSE's to prepare for.
I'll try to post at least once a week, because I do love doing this blog!
Anyway, I got all my weekend homework done on Friday so I went into town on Saturday and picked up these little beauties . . .

I walk into Superdrug. Head straight to the MUA section. Oh my.
My local Superdrug now stocks the full range!
I was so excited and happy - before they only stocked the bare minimum (nail polishes, lippies and powders) but now they stock everything. Eye shadow palettes, the Love Hearts collection, Lip Booms, glitter polishes, mascaras, concealer, foundations, primers, everything!
If you couldn't tell, I was very very happy. I only picked up two things, but I guarantee I will be hauling some MUA sooner or later!

I bought the MUA Love Hearts lip balm in 'Sweet Kiss' and the brush on concealer pen in 'Radiance'.
I spotted both of these on their website, and to be honest, I thought the lip balm was going to be a lot smaller! But there's plenty of product, and it's a fantastic consistency; creamy, glossy, moisturising. You really wouldn't believe I only paid £2 for it - not like a cheap lip balm at all!
I always wanted to try a brush on concealer pen, the YSL Touche Eclat always gets good reviews but sadly, it's a little bit out of my price range. I gave MUA's take on it a go, and really, the only thing I like is the brush. The brush is super soft but the actual concealer does not match my skin colour at all, much too orange, and doesn't blend in either. I find it sad to say I don't like an MUA product, but at just £2, it didn't set me back too much.

While I was in Superdrug, I suppose you could say I 'impulse bought' this Impulse body spray! As soon as I walk in, a big cardboard cut-out of Alesha Dixon promoting it. I sprayed the tester and I really liked it - it smells fresh and fruity, and not cheap even though it's only 89p. It says on the bottle it's Jasmine and pear scented. :)
I haven't bought an Impulse spray for years, I'm more of a perfume girl. I suppose I associated them being a childish fragrance. I like body sprays that spray like the Natural Collection ones, I'm not too fussed on the ones that spray like deodorants (like the Impulse ones).  However, my mind has been changed, and I'll probably have to get some more from the collection.

A lip balm, concealer and body spray all for under £5!

If you want any in length reviews, just comment and say so. :)

What bargains have you picked up lately?
Does your local Superdrug stock the whole MUA range?
