MUA Makeup...

Well as you may have guessed, this blog isn't just about shopping in thrift stores and showing you what I've found from thrift stores, it's also about being thrifty and passing on frugal tips.

Makeup can be mega expensive, so I decided to write today about probably the most frugal of all makeup lines; MUA.

MUA is a brand that sells exclusively to Superdrug stores in the UK. Most of their products cost a mere £1! - although some of their newer products cost a little more, but none more than £4, which is nothing to complain about.

......................................................................................................................................

My journey with MUA has been short-lived. Before it was very popular here in the UK and among beauty bloggers, and it was relatively new, I purchased my first product from MUA. That product was a pressed powder. I needed a powder, and I needed a cheap one. So when I spotted an MUA one for just a pound, I jumped at it. Not literally, of course, but it didn't take long for me to decide to take it to the check-out.

For a week, I loved it. It almost perfected my skin. One week later...crack. I found it in its container smashed to pieces. I know this was not as a result of rustling around in a makeup bag because I kept it in a cupboard, but who knows? It wasn't in an expensive container, but no disrespect. Anyway, I continued to use it until I didn't want to deal with the mess anymore.

.......................................................................................................................................

And there ended my MUA journey.
However, I hold no grudges to MUA makeup, for £1, who in their right mind would expect it to last forever?

Since then, MUA has blown up in popularity all over the internet from what I've seen. It boasts a full range of makeup, all under a fiver. So now I'm willing to try more products from the brand, especially these....

Of course I'll give my own review on whatever products I buy so expect a post soon.

Have you tried MUA products? What's your opinion on them? Have you, like me, only had a brief experience with them? Will you be buying any soon?

You can check out their full range of products here.
Their products are sold in shops in the UK but are shipped internationally from the website.
