Look what I found!

About two weeks ago, I went on a little shopping trip and searched for charity shops that I'd never seen or been to before. And what do you know? I found four more! Can never hurt to have more thrift stores to go to.

In one of the new shops I went to, I immediately fell in love with two items. In fact - and this is kinda strange but I don't care - I fell in love with the layout of the shop! It has to be one of the most lovely spaces I've been in, it was super organised and had plenty of changing rooms. Really, it could have been mistaken for an ordinary shop, if it didn't have 'charity shop' written on the front.

And the items inside were all simply amazing. I would have loved to buy so much more than I did but I'm still unbelievably happy about what I did buy.

And these are the two things I bought.....

........................................................................................................................................

Pink denim shorts:
These are from River Island! A high street brand where shorts usually come with a price tag of £20 all the way up to £50. Guess who got the little beauty for £2?

I know these are teenie tinie little shorts but I adore the colour. I'm glad they 'don't show any cheek' - to put it bluntly - as I'm 15 years old and I don't think that part of me should be shown to the world!

The button on the front has a cool design on it.

As some pretty detail there are studs on the right hand side and a pocket inside the pocket on the right hand side only.

They're UK Size 6 and fit me magically. So far I've worn them twice in the time I've had them, first with tights, and second without. They suit both ways! Love them.

Cream cotton knit top:

This originally hails from Next and I found it at the thrift store for £2.50.
My eyes saw it immediately and loved it.

I didn't realise this until I got it home, but it's 100% cotton!
It has the most wonderful feel to it, so comfy that it's a pleasure to wear it.

It's slightly sheer but I wore it with a blazer over it. I think I'll have to wear it with a little white top underneath if I want to wear it alone.

What I loved straight away was the lacey collar. Also, dotted all around the top are tiny holes in the knitting just for extra detail.

Yet another detail! A cut-out on the back with a gem as a button. So cute!

..............................................................................................................................................

I can't believe my luck, if I didn't venture to new places I never would have found these. It's a good job I did!

What do you think of what I found? What have you found recently?
