Well, now that February is done & dusted it's time for me to share my monthly favourites with you!

MAC Twig lipstick, Soap & Glory Sugar Crush, Wet 'n' Wild mascara flatlay

BEAUTY

Starting off with a shower favourite, if you read my recent Soap & Glory review then it'll come as no surprise to you that the Sugar Crush body wash made it into this post! If it's possible to be head over heels in love with a scent then I certainly am - so much so that I went out and bought the body lotion, the spray & the hand cream in the scent the weekend after I wrote that review. Smelling like sweet, lime goodness 24/7 is now an achievable goal thanks to Soap & Glory!

Moving onto makeup, I have two products I want to talk about; a lipstick & a mascara. The lipstick in question is 'Twig' from MAC which I won in a blog giveaway back in January and I can say without a doubt it's my new favourite lipstick. It's one of those gorgeous deep pinky brown shades - definitely my kind of nude. The satin finish means it's got serious lasting power whilst still being forgiving on the lips, aka a match made in heaven. I can't gush about it enough!

The mascara is one I picked up on a whim one day when I was in the pharmacy. I'd never heard anyone talk about the Wet 'n' Wild Mega Protein mascara before, nor am I the biggest fan of bristle wands but something drew me to it. Possibly the bright green tube, possibly the fact that it was only £2 something! Each time I use it I'm more and more impressed at how it manages to coat every lash without going clumpy, almost like you've just had your lashes tinted which is ideal for me. My only complaint is that it tends to go on your eyelid when you're applying it but that could just be me being more used to plastic wands. It's something I'm happy to put up with though as the effect & the super low price make it worthwhile.

ETC.

As for more miscellaneous favourites, I have two Youtube channels I've been loving and two Things I Did to mention. Not sure how else to categorise the latter!

The first Youtuber is Sophie Eggleton who I discovered through a collab she did with Zoe London. She shares a variety of vlogs, interviews, honest & interesting chats as well as fashion & beauty videos, all delivered with a good sense of humour! Funny & down to earth are two qualities that are used to describe people very often but believe me when I say she really is both of those things. I find her particularly relatable because we both have CFS and it's always helpful & comforting to be able to get the viewpoint from someone who really understands.

Bess Oates is someone I also feel I share a lot of similarities with. This month she created a new channel in a bid to start afresh and allow herself to make videos about anything she wanted to without any pressure. I'm so glad she did because you can tell she feels happier & more free to talk about topics like feminism, veganism and plenty of other good things. She uploaded a video everyday in February and I watched & enjoyed every one each day! Both Sophie & Bess have served as inspiration for the type of content I want to create on Youtube when I get back into it so if either of them read this, thank you!

Lastly, the two fun things that happened in February were recording a podcast with Catherine & meeting up with my blogger pen pal Megan! Both events were so much fun & definite highlights of the month for me so I couldn't not mention them.

So those were my February Favourites! Get involved in the comments below and let me know if you've tried any of the things I talked about or know of any of the channels I included!

Hello everyone!

Once I'd tried some of the Zoella Beauty Tutti Fruity range, I was impressed and knew I had to try some more! Then as luck would have it, Zoe released some new products to the original collection as well as a few Christmas exclusives.

Here's my review of the ones I fancied trying!

Zoella Beauty review!
Blissful Mistful

I'll start with the one which is probably my favourite and it's the solid fragrance! I never tried the original one in the bottle so I had no idea what this would smell like, only that it would be floral based on various bloggers' descriptions. In fact, I didn't know if I would even like the scent that much as I usually go for fruity options but there was only one was to find out! And guess what? I was pleasantly surprised and I absolutely adore it!

I don't have a breakdown of the notes but the best way I can describe it is that it is floral but very fresh at the same time.  The solid form really appealed to me because it's a lot more handbag & travel friendly, plus you can apply it on the go without having to spray your surroundings at the same time. Obviously if like your perfumes to linger on your clothes you can't do that with this but that said, as you're directly applying the balm to specific places it ends up being less wasteful!

As for longevity, I get about 2 hours of wear time before I want to reapply. Not as long as I'd ideally like but for a £5 solid body 'mist' I'm okay with that!

(edit: I've actually ordered the original bottle since writing this!)

Wonder Hand

I do love a good hand cream but I was getting a bit sick of using the same one so I thought I'd try this. Okay so the packaging did play a role in persuading me but just look at it! Both the box and the tube are absolutely stunning. It has the same scent as the original fragrance and boasts ingredients like Vitamin E, Shea butter and Aloe which you really can feel the benefits of. Having dry hands is so frustrating but this really does a good job of moisturising & softening.

A massive plus is that it actually does soak in within seconds, not just claim to like some hand creams do! Overall I'm very impressed and at £5.50 this will definitely become a handbag staple that I'll repurchase again and again.

Creamy Madly Dreamy

Having already tried the Tutti Fruity body lotion, I knew what to expect with this one to an extent and again, I like it but I'm not blown away. Don't get me wrong, it ticks all the boxes; it smells lovely and doesn't take long to sink in but it doesn't wow me. I just feel like it's a pretty standard body lotion whereas the other Zoella Beauty products I've tried all have unique qualities.

The scent is a more subtle version of the handcream & fragrance which is fine by me and I like being able to layer them. For just £5 this won't break the bank but if this was your introduction to the brand, I don't think it would encourage to you try more from Zoella Beauty.

What did blow me away however, when I first tried it was the lip balm! In my review of the Kissy Missy (Tutti Fruity) lip balm I did actually mention that I hoped Zoe would extend the shade range so I couldn't be more pleased that she did. I knew I needed to get my hands on the Two Balmy duo! (£5)

Vanilla Cream

This one is a very bright pop of coral red which can be worn sheerly or built up. Just like Kissy Missy it feels comfortable on the lips and fades down to a lovely stain but I do think the formula has been tweaked a little bit. I find it to be a little bit thinner in consistency but it packs more of a punch in the softening department. Slightly different, but a good different!

Sweet Mint

The paler of the two, I was expecting this to have the same amount of pigmentation but it shows up pretty much sheer on my lips. I don't see that as a bad thing though, I love having the option. Unexpectedly, I've actually been reaching for this one more often! The scent is delicious - if you like the smell of candy canes you'll like this. Unlike them however, I have to applaud Zoe for making these not sticky in the slightest!

There are four to choose from;

You should know by now that I can't resist a red lipstick so of course that's the one I chose!

My THOUGHTS

I only picked this up yesterday so I can't give an in depth review of the lipstick just yet but I can say that my first impressions are very, very good. It feels like a balm so it's extremely comfortable to wear and that's a deal breaker for me when it comes to a lipstick. The dinky size of it is not only adorable but actually makes it so easy to apply. I wish all lipsticks were this size! You still get a decent amount of product and seeing as the full size retails for £16, paying £2 for it with Glamour is not too shabby a deal!

As for the magazine itself, well, to be honest it just reminded me why I haven't bought a magazine in ages. Don't get my wrong, some of the articles & interviews were quite interesting to read (Dawn O'Porter - aka one of my favourite people - writes a column) but the bulk of it was adverts and product 'recommendations'. I use the term recommendations loosely because we all know why magazines have become less popular and blogs have sky rocketed. Actual opinions. Anyway, I won't delve too deeply into that subject right now! That aside, it was nice to take the time to flick through the glossy pages. I imagine this copy will sell very well what with the double whammy of the freebie & Tanya being on the cover so if you want it, you probably don't want to hang around too long!

Hello everyone!

If you saw my recent Feel Unique haul then you'll know that curiosity got the better of me and I picked up two items from Zoe Sugg's Zoella Beauty range - the Tutti Fruity one to be exact. Today I've got my review of the Candy Cream body lotion & the Kissy Missy lip balm!

A review of the Candy Cream Body Lotion & Kissy Missy Lip Balm from Zoella's Tutti Fruity Beauty range!
A lot of people will have differing opinions on beauty bloggers/vloggers bringing out their own products and I personally think it makes a lot of sense. They've tried lots of different products - they know makes a good one and they know what people want! I think this was such a cool way for Zoe to get creative and I love being able to support that creativity. Seeing people succeed is my favourite thing!

A review of the Candy Cream Body Lotion & Kissy Missy Lip Balm from Zoella's Tutti Fruity Beauty range!
Candy Cream Softening Body Lotion

The DETAILS

It's full of bright pink bursting beads and contains extracts of acai and blueberry.

It costs £5 for 160ml!

My THOUGHTS

What drew me to this product first of all was the packaging. Not only is it beyond adorable but I find the squeezable tube so convenient for applying just the right amount of product as you wish! The lotion itself is actually quite light and I don't find it to be as moisturising as other body butters I've used before. That said, I do like to have the option between a heavy and a light lotion; this one doesn't take long at all to sink in which is a massive plus if you're in a rush to go somewhere.

The scent is very fresh & fruity which I LOVE - it's exactly what I want to smell like when I'm just out of the shower! I also like that the scent lingers for a while, and it's one that I'd say is pretty universally likable. The bursting beads are a cute addition too, made even better by the fact they're pink.

I kinda feel like if you find applying lotion everyday a chore, this would definitely give you the incentive to do it!

You can find it on the Feel Unique website HERE.

Kissy Missy Lip Balm

The DETAILS

It's enriched with acai and blueberry and is currently available in one shade.

It costs £3!

My THOUGHTS

I swear I love this more & more everytime I use it.

If you've been reading my blog for any amount of time you'll probably know that I love a good bright lip colour, especially a pink one! I knew I wanted to try Kissy Missy as soon as I watched Zoe apply it in this video. While it's very budget friendly, you have the luxury of versatility - you can either wear it very sheer or very pigmented and that's what sold it to me!

The more you build it up, the more it starts to look like a gloss rather than a regular lip balm and because it's a mixture of the two, it feels very comfortable on the lips. It's one of the few lip products I feel comfortable wearing while I'm eating a meal!

The SWATCHES

In this photo I've built it up to it's full opacity but you can also apply just a little bit for the loveliest wash of colour. It's also worth noting how nicely it wears once you've had it on for a while! It fades down to a really pretty stain which is one of my favourite things about it. My fingers are well and truly crossed that Zoe brings out more shades of this!

You can find it on the Feel Unique website HERE.

Well I hope you enjoyed this post! These are the first Zoella Beauty products I've tried and I can definitely see myself trying some more in the future. Get involved in the comments below and let me know what kind of products you would bring out if you were given the chance!

Have you tried anything from Zoella Beauty?

Hello everyone!

Last week I placed my first order with Feel Unique! They currently have an amazing sale on so I couldn't pass up on the opportunity to pick up a few things I've wanted to try for a while now. Here's what I got!

Feel Unique haul ft. products from Zoella Beauty, Real Techniques, Maybelline, Garnier & Cocoa Brown!

Zoella Beauty // Kissy Missy Lip Balm

When I first heard about Zoe's new Tutti Fruity range, the lip balm immediately caught my attention! I'm all about a bright lip and she explained that this can be used either sheerly or built up to a higher pigmentation which sounds ideal for me. I can't wait to give it a go!

Zoella Beauty // Candy Cream Softening Body Lotion

I'd also heard great things about this; that it has bursting beads and a lovely scent so I'm excited to try it for myself! What really sold this product to me was the fact it comes in a tube. I don't know about you but I just find that a much easier way of applying lotion, rather than from a tub! And of course, the packaging is absolutely adorable so it will take pride of place on my shelf.

Real  Techniques // Miracle Complexion Sponge

I have quite a few different types of brush in my makeup brush collection but the one thing I've never tried applying my makeup with is a sponge! I've wanted to try this for the longest time after watching countless tutorials on Youtube achieve close to flawless results with it. When I saw there was money off it in the sale I thought, why not! I would love your advice though; if you use a sponge for foundation/concealer, what's the best way to clean it & what do you use?

Feel Unique haul ft. products from Zoella Beauty, Real Techniques, Maybelline, Garnier & Cocoa Brown!

Cocoa Brown // Tough Stuff

If you saw my last post, you'll know why I bought this! I don't fake tan but I really wanted to support Marissa and buy something from her Cocoa Brown range so it made sense for me to get the Tough Stuff exfoliator. It has 3 uses; it prepares skin for tanning, removes old tan as well as of course exfoliating! You all know how I feel about pink so the super bright shade of the packaging & the fact the product itself is pink (I repeat, the actual product is pink! *heart eyes emoji*) has me beyond excited to use this. I'll let you know how I get on!

Maybelline // Color Tattoo in 'Pink Gold'

Followers of my Twitter & Snapchat will know that I've been adoring with this cream eyeshadow in 'On and On Bronze' since I got it earlier this month. I'm pretty sure it's the only thing I've put on my eyes these past few weeks! I've swatched 'Pink Gold' numerous times in store but have never been sure if it would actually suit me on the eyes. Seeing as it was in the sale, I figured if not now then when!

Garnier // Micellar Water

And last but not least, I repurchased this absolute essential. It's my favourite way to remove makeup and I needed to restock as my previous one had run out. I noticed they've changed what the bottle looks like though and I'm not sure why - I don't think it doesn't look worse or necessarily better, it's just different!

Well I hope you enjoyed this haul! I did also put the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara in my basket but unfortunately it sold out before I clicked buy - it was £4 in the sale! I'll definitely be buying from Feel Unique again, especially as they do free delivery over £10 orders.

Get involved in the comments below and let me know what you'd like to see a review of once I've tried it out properly!
