Hello everyone!

I kind of have a massive full blown love for interior design. Homeware hauls are amongst my favourite videos to watch on Youtube, as are room tours. Oh and don't even get me started on Pinterest!

One of the places that seems to be pretty popular for homeware is H&M and not having a store nearby, I headed straight to their online store to see what's good!

Glass isn't something I'm particularly into when it comes to homeware but there was just something about what H&M had to offer! You could put rings or even sweets (I'm going with sweets) in the sundae bowl and maybe even recreate Beauty & The Beast with that bell jar!

I'm a sucker for cute little bowls and pots for putting nick nacks in and H&M do a great selection. The soap dispenser is gorgeous too - I feel like you've got your life together if you use a soap dispenser!

I love the style of these photo frames. Of course you could put photos in them but I think it's a cute idea to stuff cinema/concert tickets in to keep those memories. I can't resist a decorative birdcage and how adorable is that cactus candle?!

So there you have it, a few picks I've found while browsing the H&M Home site and love! Get involved in the comments section below and let me know which is your favourite item here!

Hello everyone!

I can't resist a good pair of shoes.

In my recent Spring Style post, I realised I didn't really include that many shoes so I thought, why not do a whole post dedicated to them?

Here are the shoes I've got my eye on this Spring - they're all flat because comfort is just as important as cuteness!

Now you know me, I love a good bargain but I think if you're looking to put money into any part of your wardrobe, shoes are the things to invest in. A decent pair of shoes will last you & be worth your hard earned cash!

I spotted the first two pairs on ASOS and just fell in love with the cut outs. They're obviously not meant for rainy days but on those glorious sunshiney moments we get in the UK they'll be very cute & something a little different too. Speaking of cute - jelly shoes! The 90's revival is still going strong and I can't lie, I kind of want a pair this year. Why the heck not? That's my motto. I've got my eyes on those lilac New Look ones. They'll see you into Summer too so if you're feeling brave, embrace the jelly!

For those weather confused days, a pair of boots will be essential and I think these ones from Boohoo are gorgeous. The stone grey shade isn't as stark as black so when put with a colourful outfit you'll be ready for Spring!

F+F at Tesco isn't my usual place to look for shoes but I have to admit, just from browsing their site I'm pretty impressed! Like I mentioned in my Spring Style Snippet post, blue seems to be everywhere at the minute and these two pairs of flats are a subtle but lovely way to get on that trend.

Plimsolls are definitely my shoe of choice all year round (I basically have a collection) and whether they be platform or regular, they're just a really useful shoe to have! I'm yet to jump on the Converse bandwagon but this polka dot & floral pair I spotted on Jones Bootmaker are right up my street. And last but not least, the humble striped loafer from H&M - because let's be serious, when will nautical ever not be Spring?

Well I hope you enjoyed this post! If you couldn't already tell I'm very happy to be trading Winter clothes for Spring ones!

Which is your favourite pair?

♫ Would I lie to you baby, would I lie to you? ♫
No, I wouldn't.
This is a paid for PR collaboration but all opinions are honest and my own. I flipping love shoes!

Hello everyone!

Seeing as Winter is gone now and Spring has officially sprung, I thought I'd share with you some of the fashion picks I've been eyeing up whilst browsing online shops like New Look, ASOS, River Island & Forever 21!

spring style fashion trends new look asos river island forever 21

I've sorted everything into 3 sections for you; the patterns, the basics & those little extras that will brighten up your Spring wardrobe!

spring style fashion trends new look asos river island forever 21

The PATTERNS

Midi bodycon skirt // Heels // Sweatshirt // White midi skirt // Blue skirt // Kimono // Green shorts

What would Spring be without some florals?
Kimonos are absolutely brilliant this time of year because they add a extra layer when it's chilly but then you can easily just chuck them in your bag when it's warmer! Plus, take it from me, you feel fancy as heck in them. I feel like pattern is out in full force this Spring, even more so than usual. There is just so much variety and also plenty of unique prints out there!

The BASICS

Short dungarees // Stripy top // Blue bag // Mom jeans // Grey top // Watch // Boots

No matter what season, it's always beneficial to have some basics to act as the backbone of your wardrobe. I've been contemplating adding a pair of short dungarees or mom jeans to my online basket, I think they'd make great outfits when paired with tops like the stripy or grey ones above. Or something patterned! Pastel blue seems to be popping up everywhere and the little bag is one way to sneak it into your outfit subtly - I have one of a very similar style also now New Look and it's one of my favourites!

The EXTRAS

Sunglasses // White cardigan // Pink bag // Yellow bag // Green sandals // Blue bag

And last but not least, those pretty little extras!
To be honest, I wasn't really interested in the whole metallics trend until I saw this backpack, then I fell in love! Fringing & colour blocking at also trends that get wheeled out every year and I'm really liking what I see. A light cardigan like the one on the left would also come in pretty useful!

Well I hope you enjoyed this style snippet and can take away some inspiration for your Spring wardrobe! Get involved in the comments below and let me know which things are your favourites!

What would your ideal Spring outfit be?

Hello everyone!
Makeup Revolution were arguably the brand of 2014 and they still continue to bring out amazing product after amazing product. Since I reviewed a few of their things in the Summer
(1 // 2 // 3) I've been meaning to get a few more things to add to my collection!

makeup revolution wishlist

Here are just a few of the things that are on my Makeup Revolution wishlist . . .

makeup revolution wishlist

Flawless Palette // Baked Eyeshadow in 'Limitless' // Death by Chocolate Palette //
Amazing Eyeliner // Eyes Like Angels Palette

Let's start with eyes, shall we? Ever since I tried their matte palette, I've been itching to try some of their shimmer shadows as I'm always seeing stellar reviews of them! The Death by Chocolate palette is clearly 'inspired by' the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette which I covet but don't fancy shelling out all that dolla for. . . £8 from Makeup Rev.? Yes please! The liquid liner is something I didn't expect to want but after reading Stephanie's review I soon changed my mind for the better!

makeup revolution wishlist

Blushing Hearts Blusher in 'Blushing Heart' // Pro Fix Fixing Spray //
Vivid Baked Highlighter in 'Peach Lights' // The One Fluid Blusher in 'Pink Dew'

Blush is not a thing I've ever ventured too far with. Only recently have I started trying new ones and now I'm eager to try more and more! I'm a recent convert to cream blush so I'm really curious about experimenting with a liquid one - hello Daniel Sandler dupe! Light pink would also be a new thing for me blush-wise as I usually go for the darker rosy pink shades. Ever since Makeup Revolution launched their skincare I was instantly intrigued - is there anything they can't do? I'm always looking for new ways to keep my make up in place for longer and for just a fiver, I'm willing to give this a try. Oh and who could pass up on that pretty heart packaging and shimmery goodness?

makeup revolution wishlist

#LIPHUG in 'Who we are!' // Ultra Velour Lip Cream in 'Not one for playing games' //
#LIPHUG in 'To get lucky'

Last but not least, lip colours! What really impresses me about Makeup Revolution is their extensive shade range. Most ranges have about one nude, one light pink, one fushcia and maybe two reds but with MUR you're spoilt for choice. Especially with the #liphugs - you get a whopping 20 options! And their £2.50 price tag makes choosing so much easier . . . *fills online basket*

Well, I don't know about you but I sense a Makeup Revolution order coming on!

What's on your wishlist?

Hello everyone!

Today I wanted to share with you a few of the different pieces I've been adoring whilst perusing the aisles of the online shops. As you can probably tell it's quite pastel influenced - what can I say, I'm like a magnet to those soft, pretty shades!

How cute is that little camera coin purse?
I'm on the lookout for a coin purse for those times when I'm only carrying a small bag and don't need/want to lug around my big ol' wallet. The fact that this is so cute makes me wanna snap it up!

This denim midi skirt has been sitting in my New Look wishlist for toooo long. I want to try it on in store to see how it looks on me but I'm picturing it to be pretty cool with a pair of casual shoes and T-shirt for Summer.

Half sheer tops like these are simple staples for me - lightweight and bright so brilliant for the warmer months.

Some of my shoe picks include cleated black sandals and embellished silver heels. There a tons of black sandal boots about but these ones make an impression to me. I prefer shoes that cover the ankle so I think that's why. The ASOS heels are gorgeous but pricey, and honestly I think they're something anyone could make for themselves! Tutorial anyone?

Can you tell I'm on a midi skirt kick right now?
I just love the swishy feel of them and how elegant they look! I think the pink River Island one would go so well with those cute Boohoo double T bars. Major Pink Ladies vibes.

The Missguided top would be gorgeous tucked in to any of the midi skirt - the neck is a great way to add some subtle detail to the pastel look.

La Moda are killing it with their shoes - I came across them on Twitter and have fallen in love with everything on their site! Another pair of cleats, this time with a pink injection.
You just can't get me away from the pastel pink!

So those were just a few of the things I've had my eye on recently.
I haven't included links to things as this was more of an inspiration type post.

What are your favourite fashion picks this Summer?
Would you like to see a shoe customisation tutorial inspired by that ASOS heel?
You know where to have your say!

Hello everyone!

Every Summer I have the same task ahead of me - getting all the supplies ready to go back to school - and I know some of you may be in the same position, so I thought I'd make a little blog series called 'Back to September'.
The reason I haven't named it Back to School is because I know some of my readers aren't in school, so this series will also be relatable to those going back to uni or work!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

This part of the series is . . . The Hunt for The Bag

For me, finding a bag for school is one of the most difficult things (along with shoes) about going back to September. There are lots to choose from but it's all about finding the balance between style and practicality. I'm sure you can all relate; you want a bag to be durable and the right size but still look cute!

So I scoured the internet in search of the right bag and while doing so I picked out a fair few to help you if you find yourself like me, stressed in case you won't find one in time - enjoy!

___________________________________________________________________

THE BACKPACK:

1. |  2.  |  3. |  4. |  5. |  6. |  7.  | 8.

Backpacks were everywhere last year and they're here to stay - they're comfortable and come in so many cute designs - here are just a couple. If you're like me and love fringing, check out bag 1, plus it's in the sale. Bag 7 has the most lovely detailing, I was so tempted to buy it but for me the £40 price tag is a little steep. I also nearly bought bag 8, look how crazy bright it is! In the end, I ordered bag 4 and I can't wait for it to arrive! The checkered pattern reminds me of that book Elmer the Elephant! (does anyone else remember reading it as a child?) There are so many nice bags on Amazon, I really recommend you search there if you want to bag a bargain (if you'll pardon the pun).

THE SATCHEL:

 1. |  2. |  3. |  4. | 5. |  6.

Satchels are another big trend that has come back in, and rightly so, they're a great all purpose bag for any reason you may need them. There's a ton of pretty styles you can choose from - black and gold detailing look stunning on bags 1 and 6, as does the aztec pattern on bag 5. If you want something a bit more classic but still modern, bags 2 and 3 also look great. I bought bag 4 as I love the colour, scalloped detail and it's a great size.

THE SHOULDER/ CROSS-BODY STRAP

1. |  2. |  3. |  4. |  5. |  6. |  7.

Shoulder bags are an old faithful for me, I've used them for school since I started secondary. I didn't opt for one this year because I wanted something different for sixth form, but look at how lovely these ones are! Any of these bags can be worn on the shoulder or elbow, and some have a longer strap so they can become cross-body bags! Bag 1 is so affordable, I think it would be great for young teens.

__________________________________________________________________

I hope this post helped you if you're in search for a new bag!

I'm starting sixth form in September and what I was looking for was a comfortable bag that was stylish and affordable. I don't need a very big bag this year as I'm only doing three subjects; Art, French and Media Studies - and due to the nature of those, I won't need to carry many books around.

I confess, I did something very un-thrifty . . . I bought 3 bags.
I don't think I should have to justify myself but here's my attempt anyway- they are all very different and I know I will get use out of all of them. The combined price of the three is £67 which I don't think is too bad seeing as I got three whole bags, when there are single bags out there that cost that much and more.
Also, when they arrive, (I ordered them online) if I change my mind about them, returns are free. If not, I'll have plenty of choice and I can switch my schoolbag up every now and then.

Alright I'm a bag-a-holic, I love them. I think I can afford to treat myself to bags when I spend so little on clothes.
I think I'm going to have to go on a bag-ban for a while!

___________________________________________________________________

Here are the three I ordered:

Image 1 of ASOS Scallop Detail Satchel BagImage 1 of New Look Studded Roland Satchel

Pink bag - ASOS - £28
Black bag - ASOS - £19.99
Multi-coloured bag - Amazon - £15.95 + £3.95 p+p = £19.90

__________________________________________________________________________

You can, of course, find many a great bag in thrift/charity shops -  I know I've found a couple of beauties on occasion. Make sure to check zips work and there aren't any stains/rips that you can't live with before buying. :)

Other posts in this series will be:
- Shoes - Stationery - Self-esteem -
and more!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Have you bought your bag for going back to September yet?
What's the thing you can't buy enough of?
What other posts would you like to see in this series?
Have your input!

Hi pretties!

Just a quick post today - I've been thinking about Christmas, and I really want to get some things that I wouldn't be able to get any other time of the year. So since I always read reviews about Models Own polishes on the blogsphere, I wanted to make a wishlist of some polishes I would like. I don't own any so I'd love to add some of these beauties to my collection!

Northern Lights - Wonderland
Northern Lights - Wonderland

Indian Ocean - Beetlejuice

Pink Fizz - Glitter

Mystic Mauve - Champagne

Scarlett Sparkle Nail Polish
Scarlett Sparkle

As you can see, I've picked some more unique colours, the types you can't easily find in drugstores.

All of the polishes are £5 each, but at the minute on the Models Own website there is an offer that when you buy 5 polishes you get £7 off! Go ahead and snap up that deal if you love MO polishes.

I'd really love to know if any of you have these colours - or recommend any particular shades - let me know in the comments!

Now it's not very often you'll see me post about Topshop - in my opinion their prices are beyond ridiculous and some of their clothes are just weird. Some things I love but are too expensive. However, I do like to check out what they have on sale every now and then.

Here's my pick of their current sale, and each item I've chosen is £10 or under!

....................................................................................

Mint Paper Pork Pie Hat
Also available in lilac and straw colours.

Was £22
Now £7

It's a pretty hat but I wouldn't fork out twenty two for it, would you? Seven is more reasonable but I'm almost sure it will come down in price even more in a few weeks.

Gingham Print Shopper
Was £16
Now £5

If you like gingham, why not give this cute shopper a go?

Bow Peplum Blouse
Was £25
Now £7

This blouse is almost as cute as a cuddly puppy, and seven pounds is a much cuter price than twenty five!

TOMMY Snaffle Loafer

Was £25
Now £5

Alright, they don't look like the strongest of soles, but if you think about it this way: if you spend one pound for every time you wear them, you might not get twenty five wears, but five is definitely closer to the amount of times you could wear them before they get tired.

Petite Floral Peplum Dress
Petite Floral Peplum Dress

Was £48
Now £10

Floral plus peplum? This dress is the epitome of girly. Ten pounds? This dress is the epitome of bargain.

MOTO Lace Ombre Crop Jeans

Was £38
Now £10

If you love the ombre trend, chances are you'll love these.

MERRILY Open Laceup Shoes
Was £28
Now £7

Add a pop of colour for a fraction of the price?

Cut Out Shoulder One Sleeve Dress by Rare

Was £36
Now £10

Shoes, handbag, dinner. . . I can imagine a night out with the girls will cost a lot less with this dress!

Daisy Printed Pleated Skirt

Was £34
Now £7

I saw this skirt in the sale and loved it. However, it doesn't come in my size, is it in yours?

Printed Maxi Skirt  by Love

Was £42
Now £20

Ok, so this isn't under ten pounds, and I couldn't possibly consider buying it, but I just wanted to share it with you. Isn't that print just so - gorgeous? I love it! I can see flowers, butterflies and birds in it, what can you see?

................................................................................

Like anything I've picked out from the Topshop sale?
What are your opinions on Topshop prices and clothes?

You can check out the Topshop sale here.
